Course Objective

While both Kansas and Missouri have recognized individuals’ constitutional right to carry without permitting, there is still value in earning your Concealed Carry License/Permit. Upon successful completion of this course, you will have everything you need to get your permit in either Kansas or Missouri (based on your state of residence).

What We’ll Cover

• Justifiable use of force
• Legal and moral considerations of defensive gun use
• Situational awareness
• How to lawfully conceal a pistol
• Learning from real-world cases of defensive gun use and walking through scenarios
• Live-fire qualification

Prerequisites

• The ability to safely and confidently handle your pistol

Equipment Requirements

• Range-appropriate clothing: Shoes must be closed-toe, and shirts must not be low-cut
• Appropriate eye and ear protection
• A functional semiautomatic pistol in a conventional centerfire caliber (e.g. 9mm, 40 S&W, 45 ACP, etc.)
• 50 rounds of ammunition for your pistol (35 required, 50 recommended)
  • Note: All student-provided firearms and ammunition may inspected by the instructor prior to use.
