Ibis Training Group is a veteran-owned small business dedicated to providing high-quality firearms training in the Kansas City Area. Our focus is on introducing individuals to the world of shooting, with an emphasis on pistol skills. Whether you’re completely new to shooting or looking to tighten those groupings, we’re here to get you confident, safe, and competent behind the trigger.

We teach what we know- how to shoot fast and accurate. From self defense to competition, the need to quickly and accurately put rounds on target is a universal skill. And, like any skill, the only way to improve is practice. Practice doesn’t make perfect, it makes permanent. We aim to give you what you need to practice effectively so that you will continue to improve after you leave our class.

If there’s a specific skill or technique you’d like to learn that isn’t currently offered, please reach out. We understand that finding the right training can be a challenge. If we don’t have the expertise in-house, we likely know someone who does and are happy to connect you with the right instructor or resource.
